Options for Peeps

I know you are all wondering what to do with all those leftover Peeps you got for Easter, aren't you? Well, thankfully, I have found your answer...

Oh yes, I could get into that!

And, if being made to eat ice cream while chained to a bathtub full of Peeps, isn't your thing, try roasting them over a fire...they are darn good that way as well.

  1. OK, had to look up what peeps means, because I had this image of you roasting people over a fire. Now I'm feeling much better about this post :)

    1. Roz, they seem to be the Easter treat that everyone buys but no one eats, or no one admits to eating. I will only eat them roasted, the sugar caramelizes while the center stays gooey, yummmm.

    2. I just had a thought! What if you stuck a bit of chocolate inside the bunny and then roasted it? I wonder if that would work...

    3. DF, do you guys live over there?! lol

A smore is a roasted marshmallow and a piece of chocolate, squished between two graham crackers.

  5. Oh my gosh I'm so grossed out by peeps! I never liked them to begin with, my daughter thinks they're the most cutest things in the whole wide world. Ugh, I do give her the cute factor. But gross. She systematically eats the sugar off the outside then savors the gooey mess left behind.

A peep smore... might be onto something there!

    1. Joolz, thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Don't feel bad, I didn't get chocolate either, and the only reason I got any candy is because of my kids :)

  7. Eww, i have banned peeps in our house. Can't stand them, i don't want to look at them, touch them, and definitely not eat them. Good thing my kids don't really care; they'd rather have chocolate.
