Tell Me It's a Blogger Glitch

The blog is down eight followers in less than 24 hours.

Two in the last twenty minutes.

I'm trying really hard not to take it personally, but eight?

I've lost followers before -one here, one there-, it's to be expected.

But, fuck, eight?

  1. i'm losing them too. 12 so far. everytime I go in the numbers drop, but when I look at the list, I can't see any obvious losses. Since you've noticed it, I'm hoping it's a glitch.

    1. Bleue, if I lost that many because of something I said, it would feed my insecurities...

    1. Lilli, there's no way to tell how many followers we really have, with all the different ways to view blogs. I think they are just deleting non-active accounts.

  8. I just took a peak at mine- yep some have dropped off. I noticed too when I revamped my page that I had some (of my very favorite) blogs hidden on my reading list somehow! Very odd.

    1. Pearl, that is odd. You would think Google could invest some of their trillions into updating blogger. Lol.

  9. Yup I'm down 49 followers which is funny because my blog is private so many of those followers didn't even read there anymore. However there is nothing but dust and tumbleweeds on my blog anyway! Regardless, I guess there is nothing to worry about.

Besides, clearly all the 'cool kids' are still here!

    1. willie, that is funny! It has to be them deleting dead accounts. Maybe you should dust your place off and go public again... ;)

    1. Jan, I'm not sure there's anyway to find out, but I highly doubt *that* many people just up and decided to stop reading blogs all at once. Especially blogs of the fantastic writers that have commented here!

  14. I'm still here! But now I must check. I know a few of mine are empty blogs. Maybe google is doing a clean up.

  15. I guess I should check. Maybe Google is cleaning out the blogs that are no longer around.
Happy Holidays from me who is still here!
